Chapter 13 - Harrison’s Last Stand

(The Legal Destruction & Seizure)

Over the next four weeks, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland processed the largest maritime criminal indictment in state history.

Harrison Vance, having been denied bail due to extreme flight risk and international arms trafficking charges, suffered a massive, debilitating stroke inside his federal holding cell at the Chesapeake Detention Facility, leaving him permanently confined to a medical prison hospital for the rest of his natural life.

Garrett Vance entered a formal guilty plea to two counts of attempted first-degree murder, corporate fraud, and chemical poisoning. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole at the ADX Florence supermax facility in Colorado.

Penelope Vance was convicted of corporate conspiracy, grand larceny, and perjury. She was sentenced to twelve years at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, with her stolen offshore assets fully seized and returned to the Vanguard employee pension fund.

The name Vance was permanently stripped from every corporate registry, every building, and every drydock in the State of Maryland.

The empire they tried to steal had become the instrument of their absolute annihilation.
